William Baumol |
William Baumol is the Harold Price Professor of Entrepreneurship and Academic Director of the Berkley Center for Entrepreneurial Studies at the Stern School of Business at New York University. Professor Baumol is also the senior economist and professor emeritus at Princeton University. His honors and awards include eleven honorary degrees and membership in the U.S. National Academy of Sciences, the American Philosophical Society, the Accademia Nazionale Dei Lincei (Italy) and the British Academy.

Robert Engle |
Robert Engle, the Michael Armellino Professor of Finance at New York University's Stern School of Business, was awarded the 2003 Nobel Prize in Economics for his research on autoregressive conditional heteroskedasticity (ARCH). Professor Engle's interest in financial econometrics covers equities, interest rates, exchange rates and option pricing. He is currently developing methods to analyze large systems of assets, real-time volatility, market microstructure and extreme market movements.
Before joining NYU Stern in 2000, Professor Engle was Chancellor's Associates Professor and Economics Department Chair at the University of California, San Diego, and as an associate professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Dr. Robert ("Dr. Bob") Froehlich |
Dr. Robert ("Dr. Bob") Froehlich is the Chief Investment Strategist for Deutsche Asset Management Americas and the Vice Chairman of Scudder Investments. At Scudder Investments, Dr. Froehlich works closely with the firm's equity and fixed income product lines and is the bridge between the investment group and the retail distribution group. One of his primary responsibilities is to articulate the firm's current investment strategies and market outlook for clients, advisors, media and the general public. He appears regularly on a variety of financial television programs including CNBC, CNNfn and FOX News.
Dr. Froehlich began his career in the public sector where he served as the chief financial officer and as one of the youngest city managers ever in Ohio. Before joining Scudder Investments, he was a senior executive with Ernst & Young and the director of research at Van Kampen American Capital. While at Van Kampen American Capital, Dr. Froehlich was nominated to the "All-American" Institutional Research Teams sponsored by Global Guarantee, The Bond Buyer and Ratings, Research and Review.

Robert Litterman |
Robert Litterman is the director of Quantitative Resources at Goldman Sachs Asset Management. He oversees Quantitative Investment Strategies and Global Investment Strategies. Mr. Litterman is the co-developer, along with the late Fischer Black, of the Black-Litterman Global Asset Allocation Model, a key tool in the Investment Management Division.s asset allocation process.
Prior to moving to the Investment Management Division, Mr. Litterman was head of the Risk Department. Preceding his time in the Operations, Technology & Finance Division, he spent eight years in the Fixed Income Division's research department, where he was co-director. Mr. Litterman became a partner in 1994.
Before joining the firm in 1986, Mr. Litterman was an assistant vice president in the Research Department of the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis and an assistant professor in the Economics Department at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Philip Lofts |
Philip Lofts is the Group Chief Credit Officer at UBS AG. In 2004, Mr. Lofts was appointed to the Group Managing Board. Since joining UBS's Investment Bank in 1984, he has held a variety of positions. Prior to 1998, Mr. Lofts headed the Structured Finance & Credit Risk Management Division in Japan. Between 1994 and 1996, he was the Deputy Head of the Banking Division in London where he managed both marketing and structuring teams. He was the Chief Credit Officer for Asia Pacific from 1998 - 2002 and for the Americas from 2002 - 2003. Mr. Lofts has been with UBS for 20 years.
