Roger L. M. Dunbar is a professor of management and organizations at NYU Stern and teaches courses in managing organizations, management and organizational analysis, organization theory and research methods.

He is interested in how managers support organizational stability and also facilitate change. He is particularly interested in sensemaking processes in organizations and how framing processes constrain meaning and the use of narrative enables learning and adaptation.
