Saptarshi Mukherjee

My name is Saptarshi Mukherjee. My friends call me 'Sapt'. I was born and brought up in India. I have earned a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering from Jadavpur University as well as an MBA from Indian Institute of Management Bangalore. For the past 18 months, I have been working as a researcher at the Center For Analytical Finance at Indian School of Business. Here, I have had the opportunity to explore certain issues in Behavioral Finance and Market Microstructure. I up extremely excited about the NYU Stern Finance PhD program. Stern is home to one of the largest and finest finance department in the world and learning from the stalwarts in the field would be an invaluable opportunity. In my free time, I like to read books. Currently I am fascinated by the evolution of religious beliefs and superstitions. Besides, I like to work out and swim.
