Homework Solutions:  For those of you who think that I am not giving enough guidance in doing the homework e.g. showing you how to do problems that are similar to those assigned as homework, there is a reason for this. The CD-ROM which came with the book contains solutions to questions which are not at the back of your book. Some of them are in an Excel format. Since some of you have not attempted to install this software (which also contains multiple choice and T/F questions, 2 of which I used on the midterm exam), you have only yourself to blame. Moral: Take advantage of all opportunities presented to you!
