Casino Night

September

Student Council holds an annual Casino Night where students can come and play for a night of revelry. Games include blackjack, roulette and Texas Hold’Em. Their winnings (paid out in chips) can be used at an auction to win prizes donated by outside organized. It’s a night for great fun. Get ready to GAMBLE!

Class Wars

October

Put on by the class representatives, Stern’s four classes compete against each other for top honors. They compete in games such as: football, basketball, dodgeball, poker and decorating. A weeklong period of fun, Class Wars tends to be a time where students meet new people and get to put their best feet forward!

International Food Festival

December

Student Council puts all the diverse cultures in Stern into one lobby. Food from varying cultures are brought to Tisch’s UC Lobby. Students can try foods from all different backgrounds while enjoying cultural acts. The 2006 event included Belly Dancing and NYU’s Nasha dance team.

Welcome Back Fiesta

January

Soon after students return to Stern after a long winter break, Student Council provides a common-hour Mexican-themed fiesta with mariachi music, food and fun!

All University Games

February

Prove to your fellow NYU’ers that STERN is the best. In a day full of pep and cheer, Stern competes with the other schools at NYU, both graduate and undergraduate in sporting and rallying events. Support your school like its your iBanking job!

Stern Semi-Formal

March/April

Guarenteed to be the best event of the year, Stern puts on their best dancing shoes and parties the night away. Held off-campus, students are invited to the formal for a small price for great food and great people. Promised to be the most fun you will have all year!
