The membership of EBS is comprised of over 160 current students from both the full time and part time student body, and over 170 alumni. The membership represents students and alumni from all corners of the globe.
Alumni
We work with the international student clubs of Stern to host the International Alumni reception, held annually in the Fall semester. We also participate in the alumni networking at the Nova Conference (run by the Italian MBA Association)

Stephanie Rajzbaum - PresidentStephanie was born and raised in France, graduated in business in Paris Dauphine University. Prior to Stern, she worked for 5 years in auditing in Mazars in Paris, in the banking industry. She will be working in investment banking for the summer. She likes playing tennis and travelling. David Garcia-Lorenzana - Executive VPDavid was born and raised in Madrid, Spain. He graduated in late 2000 from the Universidad Politecnica de Madrid with a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, specialized in wireless communications systems. Prior to Stern, David spent two years in Sweden working for Ericsson and five years in London working for several mobile phone operators, including Hutchison 3G and Telefonica O2 Europe. This summer, he will be working in the Investment Banking Division at UBS, London. David is an avid soccer fan (supports the best team in the world, i.e. Real Madrid), enjoys other sports like skiing and basketball and loves travelling, photography and movies. At Stern, he is also an officer in the Graduate Finance Association (International Relations) and the Soccer Club. [contact] |

Luis Sanz - London TrekLuis Sanz is the Vice President of the London Trek, which co-organized during his first year at Stern in 2008. Luis was born in Barcelona, where earned a Bachelor in Business Administrations with honors from ESADE. Prior to Stern, Luis was a consultant at The Boston Consulting Group Madrid office for three years, where he worked for several international companies in the telecom, retail and energy sectors. This summer he will be working in the Investment Banking division of Morgan Stanley London office. Luis is a passionate soccer lover (and Barcelona supporter, of course!) and also enjoys skiing, watching movies (especially terror ones) and dancing. [contact] |

Raquel Lacarra - VP of External RelationsBorn in Bilbao, Spain. She earned a BA in Business Administration with honors from the University of Deusto, major in finance. During her undergrad, she spent six months in the Universuty of St. Andrews, Scotland, under an Erasmus schollarship. She started her professional Carreer as a business analyst in the Madrid office of McKinsey & Company. In August 2007, after being awarded a scholarship from the Fundacion Ramon Areces and sponsored by McKinsey & Company, she begins her MBA at New York University?s Stern School of Business, New York University, where she plans to specialize in strategy and marketing. Ioannis Dritsas - VP of Global ConferenceYiannis was born and raised in Greece. He holds a Bachelors degree in Marketing and Communication from the Athens University of Economics and Business. Prior to Stern he worked for Heineken as a sales supervisor where he managed the sales and relationships of wholesalers and distributors. His interests include philosophy, movies and travelling. Paolo De Luca - VP of FinancePaolo is Vice President of the EBS. Originally from Italy, he studied at Bocconi University where he graduated in Business in 2002 and Law in 2005 . Prior to Stern, Paolo worked as an attorney at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP providing advice on Italian and international tax issues relating to capital markets, mergers and acquisitions and financial products . Additionally, he lectured on Accounting and Financial Statements at Bocconi University. This summer he will be working in the Investment Banking Division at Merrill Lynch, London. [contact] |

Philip Stewart - VP of TechnologyPrior to Stern, Philip was a software specialist at Sungard Energy Systems where he managed the design, development and deployment of a commodities trading and risk analysis software package for Energy clients throughout Europe and the United States. He later moved on to work for Sun Microsystems as a software developer on their grid computing infrastructure. Philip is an MBA candidate at New York University's Stern School of Business and has a BSE in Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan. [contact] |

Oleg Kurbatskiy - VP of Part Time StudentsOleg is the Vice President of Part-time Students for EBS. Born and raised in Russia, Oleg graduated from Kaliningrad State Technical University with a Masters Degree in Management and a perfect academic record in 1997. Prior to coming to the United States in 1999, Oleg worked in cooperation with the Mayor’s and Governor’s Offices to facilitate international expert exchange in environmental protection in the Kaliningrad Region. He provided support for the implementation of ecological initiatives in the Region sponsored by the European Commission. He is currently working as a Division Manager at Lorillard Inc., managing a team of 6 sales representatives. Oleg is a Part-time MBA student at NYU Stern, specializing in Banking and Financial Instruments and Markets. He is planning to graduate in May of 2010. [contact] |

Julien Serdaru - VP of AlumniJulien was born and raised in Paris, France. He graduated in 2002 from the Leonardo da Vinci University with a Master of Science in Engineering, specialized in Computer Science. Prior to Stern, Julien was a research engineer at Dassault Systemes, world-leader in Product Lifecycle Management software solutions and 3D Computer Aided Design. There, he worked with major companies in the aeronautical and automobile industries, including Boeing, Airbus and Toyota. This year, Julien launched Alumnforce, a Paris-based tech venture dedicated to serving alumni networks. Paolo Baudino - VP of EventsPaolo is the vice-president of events at EBS. He was born and raised in Torino, Italy. He graduated from Politecnico di Torino in 2003 in Electronics Engineering. During his undergrad, he spent one year in France at École Nationale Supérieure d'Électronique, d'Électrotechnique, d'Informatique, d'Hydraulique, et des Télécommunications in Toulouse under an Erasmus scholarship. Prior to Stern, Paolo spent four years working for Accenture in the system integration division where he helped companies reengineering their processes leveraging information technology. He worked on several Italian and international projects advising companies in the Automotive and Industrial Equipment industry. His interests include playing golf, skiing, reading and travelling. Javier Perez Carrion - VP of EventsJavier was born and raised in Murcia, Spain. He graduated in late 2004 from Universidad Pontificia Comillas - ICADE (Madrid) with a Bachelor in Business Administration with Honors in European Business. During his undergrad he spent two years at Lancaster University (UK) as part of the degree. Javier started his professional career in the Madrid office of L'Oréal Paris, where he spent two years as a marketing product manager. After those two years, he joined the marketing department of the family business, a real estate developer in the south east of Spain. Javier is also a passionate soccer lover (supports obviously Real Murcia and Real Madrid), and also enjoys playing golf and traveling. [contact] |

Stephan Reinhard - VP of FinanceStephan was born and raised in Germany and graduated 2005 in International Business from Bamberg University, Germany. Prior to Stern, he worked for UBS as Portfolio Manager in Luxembourg. Stephan is a sports enthusiast, particularly basketball, soccer and skiing. Jean-Marc Di Cato - VP of Global ConferenceJean-Marc was born and raised in Luxembourg. He holds a Masters degree in International Law and in Business Law from the Universite Paris 1 Sorbonne. He also holds a certificate in Economics from the Universite Libre de Bruxelles. Prior to coming to Stern, he worked as a Project Manager in the Office of the CEO of Banque de Luxembourg and is now pursuing his MBA with a focus on Finance and Strategy. Davide Tararbra - VP of London TrekBorn and raised in Italy, Davide graduated with full honors from the University of Genoa with a B.S. in Economics, after spending a semester abroad with the Erasmus Programme at the University of Jyvaskyla, Finland. He subsequently worked for 5 years in the logistics industry with the A.P. Moller Maersk Group, specializing in handling the exports operations intra-Europe and to Asia of a few large Italian industrial accounts in Italy. Subsequently he moved to the Netherlands, where he managed several large projects in the area of strategy, dealing mainly with investments in new assets, entry in markets and reorganizational processes. Tamas Erdos - VP of TechnologyTamas was born and raised Budapest, Hungary. He is a graduate of Babson College, where he majored in Business Administration and specialized in quantitative methods. He also spent a semester in Paris, studying at Universite Paris 4 Sorbonne. After graduation, he worked at Polish consulting firm Kolaja and Partners, where he focused on the reorganization of the quality and environmental management vertical of a major steel producer. He also worked as the portfolio manager of a Hungarian printing and publishing group. In his spare time, Tamas enjoys playing table tennis, wine tasting and traveling. [contact] |
