This is the web site for the course Regression and Multivariate Data Analysis (B90.2301 / C22.0017), taught by Jeffrey Simonoff. This web page refers to the Regression and Multivariate Data Analysis class to be taught during the Fall 2009 semester. The syllabus for the course can be viewed here. A class-by-class calendar for this course can be viewed here. The calendar will be updated after each class.

Postscript (ps) versions of class handouts can be obtained here. If you have a Postscript printer, these files can be printed out directly on your printer. If you do not have a Postscript printer, you will need to have a Postscript reader on your computer to print them out. You can obtain one for free by clicking here.

These are the data files for the course. Each location includes a .ZIP file that contains all of the files in zipped format. You will need an unzipping program, such as pkunzip, to unzip the archive. The DOS-based pkunzip can be found in hundreds of locations on the web. A location that gives a self-extracting executable to create zipping and unzipping programs is here. The paper refers specifically to psychology problems, but the advice is applicable to any field. The full citation of the article is Wilkinson, L., & Task Force on Statistical Inference. (1999). "Statistical methods in psychology journals: Guidelines and explanations." American Psychologist, 54, 594-604. The paper is freely available at NYU or using an NYU proxy from a non-NYU machine, as the university has a subscription to the journal.
