And this summer I had the opportunity to travel to Shanghai and I was able to connect with my Chinese culture! The pledging process was a great journey that helped me discover the type of person I am and it enabled me to meet other upperclassman, alumni, and even girls my own year! The friendships that grow out of these relationships are one of the main reason why I stay active in Phi Chi Theta.
