Biography
 
Antonios Sangvinatsos joined New York University Stern School of Business in 2010 as a Visiting Professor of Finance. He teaches a course entitled "Futures and Options" in the M.B.A. program. Prior to joining NYU Stern, he was an assistant professor of finance at the University of Southern California, where he taught an advanced class in fixed income securities.

Professor Sangvinatsos's research focuses on asset pricing, fixed income, derivatives and portfolio choice. His work includes modeling the prices of Treasury bonds and corporate bonds, and constructing optimal portfolios among stocks, bonds and cash. His latest work associates the pricing information of bonds with that of stocks. His work has been published in leading journals, such as the Journal of Finance.

Professor Sangvinatsos received his B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Athens in Greece, his M.Sc. in Management Science from Stanford University and his M.Phil. and Ph.D. in Finance from NYU.
