Quirin Fleckenstein

My name is Quirin Fleckenstein. I graduated from the University of Mannheim in December 2016 with a Master in Management focusing on Finance. During the master program I had the opportunity to conduct research in finance, e.g. I analyzed the effect of market sentiment on asset prices. Further, I worked as a RA at the Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW). Those two experiences shaped my desire to pursue a Ph.D. in Finance. My research interests are still broad, but lean towards behavioral finance and financial intermediation.

Besides research, I am passionate about hockey, which I used to play in a club in my youth. Further, I enjoy cooking and listening to live music.
