Jack Beumseok Shim

My name is Beumseok Shim, but I adopted the name Jack when I first came to America. I attended Princeton University to study undergraduate Physics, with a goal to become a physicist. Over the course of the years, my passion slowly moved on to social sciences, of which the field of Finance best fit my interests. I am overjoyed to have the opportunity to learn and research the field in depth with world-class faculty and peer students at Stern. Currently my tentative interests are on Asset Liquidity, but I'm mostly leaving all options open. In my spare time, I like to watch soccer, swim, and play puzzle games.
