Matteo Crosignani
I obtained a BSc in Economics from Bocconi University in Milan. During my final year I had the opportunity to visit Columbia University as an exchange student, where I fell in love with New York and became attracted by Finance. I consequently decided to enroll in an MSc in financial economics at the London School of Economics. My research interests are still broad and cover continuous time asset pricing and systemic risk. In particular, the prominence of Stern in the areas of systemic risk and macro-prudential regulation combined with the prospect of the "living laboratory" called New York City are the main factors that made me chose Stern. I am a passionate traveller and I have had the opportunity to extensively travel around the world. I am mainly fascinated by Africa, having visited it eight times. Finally, each of the approximately 400 official tennis matches I played from 1999 have an important role in my life.
