Siddharth Vij

I was born and brought up in India, and have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka as well as an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore. It was during my MBA that I developed a keen interest in financial economics, particularly during the term I spent as an exchange student at Yale University. For the last couple of years, I've been working as a researcher at the Centre for Analytical Finance at the Indian School of Business. My broad research interests are in the areas of corporate finance, financial intermediation and the financial development of emerging markets. I am very excited at the prospect of working with Stern's highly accomplished and diverse faculty, and of living in one of the world's great cities. Outside work, I enjoy trivia quizzing, cricket, and following Indian and US politics.
