Vadim Elenev is currently an Analyst at Cornerstone Research, an economic consulting firm. He was born in Moscow, Russia, and lived there before moving with his parents to the United States in 1995. Vadim grew up in Westchester County and attended the University of Virginia, where he majored in Economics and Mathematics and was active in the Washington Literary Society and Debating Union and the University's Honor Committee. In his undergraduate thesis, Vadim analyzed the efficiency of political prediction markets using experiments. During his final semester at U.Va., he proposed and co-taught a course on the financial crisis for non-economics and non-finance students.
