Dear SWIB
Members, As we wrap up another great year at Stern, it is hard to
believe it has gone by so fast! Stern's campus greening initiative has gained
full speed, social enterprise as a specialization is packing a real punch
across the business school world and the increasing credibility of Stern as a
consulting school is bringing the likes of BCG and Monitor to campus for the
very first time! It is amazing how much progress the students and
administration have made this year - and the enthusiasm surrounding all that
is yet to come. |

Students Leverage Alumnae Panel for Career Advice By Sarah Sommerfield On
Thursday, April 24, over 30 Part-Time and Executive women gathered to hear
four accomplished Stern alumnae speak about their experiences switching
careers at a SWIB-organized panel called Leveraging Your Skills and MBA in
Switching Careers. This was the second annual professional
development alumnae panel organized by SWIB specifically designed to address

On Friday, February 1st, Stern Women in Business held its 16th
annual Conference at Bridgewaters in the South Street Seaport. The event brought together over 450
attendants, including current students, alumni, and prospective
students.The day was a great success, with attendees coming from all over the city and beyond to learn about the
evolution of women in business. Women no longer need to be on the golf course
or in a conservative suit, but instead are making their mark in high heels! Click
