Sanskriti Thakur

Sanskriti is a native of New York and a Graduate of Union College with
degrees in Chemistry and Visual Arts. Throughout her undergraduate education,
Sanskriti supplemented her interest in the study of design and chemistry
with community service roles focused on supporting education and economic
development for women.
Upon graduating, she worked in development at the
Center for Constitutional Rights located in New York, NY; and utilized
her analytical background to support national civil rights litigation.
Thereafter, she focused her biomedical research background to analyze
and manage casework within the pharmaceutical industry. In her last two
years, Sanskriti worked within the biotechnology and chemicals industry
to source and market innovative raw materials. To satisfy her entrepreneurial
side she worked with an international technology start up firm and with
non-profits to support the education of women in South East Asia.
Sanskriti chose the Stern School of Business because of its resources for female
business leaders and its progressive culture. She is proud to be a SWIB
board member.
