BOOKS
"Seven
Methods for Transforming Corporate Data Into Business Intelligence,"
by Vasant Dhar and Roger Stein, published by Prentice-Hall (1997), currently
in its second printing. It provides a vocabulary for expressing business
requirements, and demonstrates the application of major Artificial Intelligence
techniques to data-intensive business problems. The book contains seven
real-world case studies that illustrate how to formulate problems in a
way that leverages the strengths of each of the techniques, and conditions
under which it makes sense to apply each of them. Click
