Kiran Damodaran, A Personal Narrative
My name is Kiran Damodaran and I am a rising senior at Newark Academy, a school in Livingston, New Jersey. I have many interests. I have always loved sports and have played soccer, lacrosse and baseball, intensely enjoying every moment that I have spent on the fields. Through serendipity, I also learned that I loved writing and my poetry has given me new ways of expressing myself. I have learned that I don't live two separate lives, as athlete and poet, but that they are complement each other and make me who I am.
About me
I was born in 1999 in Livingston, New Jersey and have lived all of my life in Chatham, New Jersey. I am the youngest of four siblings.
