Welcome!  I am a fourth year doctoral student with the Operations Management group at the Leonard N. Stern School of Business (NYU). I hold a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Madras.

I currently live in New York and thus get to enjoy the various avenues of entertainment it has to offer, from street plays to Broadway shows (which are darn expensive). Also, I am adventurous when it comes to trying different cuisines and my latest additions have been Vietnamese and Ukranaian food.

Ice-skating is a passion that I have discovered recently and enjoy a lot. Funny, considering that I come from place where the summer temperatures are 120 F + !

Though not an expert on art, I enjoy visiting museums and am especially fond of paintings (Monet and Da Vinci, in particular). Among the things that I hope to do in the near future (apart from stellar research), a tour of the European coutryside and adventure sports is high on the list.
