IO DAY
(a.k.a. New York Commuter Industrial Organization Workshop)
IO Day is a September one-day workshop at NYU that brings together people from the New York area schools (in whatever radius that includes Philadelphia and New Haven).
The idea is simple: I (Luís Cabral) receive, until mid June, suggestions of papers to present. I then ask a couple of people to put together a program of four papers (presentation + discussion).
Registration for IO Day consists of an email telling me you plan to come. I take care of finding a room and providing coffee and lunch. Each participant is responsible for his or her other arrangements.
I send out email news regarding IO Day based on a list of addresses that I compiled by consulting faculty from various New York area schools. If you would like to be added or removed from that list, please let me know.
For more information, contact: Luís Cabral (lcabral@stern.nyu.edu) or Katherine King (kking@stern.nyu.edu)
