tesh - a TExt SHell.
What this page is about:
This is the homepage of tesh, my favourite program. : ) Give it a try if you
feel like it. It is a simple shell which allows you to create and manage text
documents by applying tags to them. Later, documents can be retrieved by
running queries on those tags (e.g., "show me all docs that deal with 'dogs' and
'cats'").
tesh was written by Manuel Arriaga and is available as free
software: it is distributed under the terms of the GPL.
Version 1.2 can be downloaded from here.
To become the second tesh user on the planet you'll need:
Python and
your favorite text editor!
