Fall 2001: Harry Markowitz visits MPSIF

Harry Markowitz received the 1990 Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences for his pioneering work in the theory of financial economics and having developed the theory of portfolio choice. Professor Markowitz was a Visiting Scholar in the Department of Finance at the Stern School in 2001-02. In Fall 2001, Professor Markowitz lectured to MPSIF on principles of asset allocation and portfolio construction.
