I am a Ph.D.
candidate at the department of Information, Operations, and Management
Sciences, Leonard N. Stern School of
Business, New York University. I expect
to complete my Ph.D. in Spring 2009. I got a bachelor and a master degree in
Computer Science at Northeastern University,
China. My research focuses
on data mining in business intelligence. In particular, I conduct research
on prediction-oriented customer segmentation, query languages for recommender
systems, social networks, and statistical analysis of writing styles.
I have published papers in the Information System Research (conditionally
accepted), Communications
of ACM and the Journal
of the American Society for Information Science and Technology.
My
advisor is Alex Tuzhilin.
