Sridhar Seshadri

Sridhar Seshadri received the degree of Bachelor of Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, India, in 1978, the Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, India, in 1980 and the Ph.D. degree in Management Science from the University of California at Berkeley in 1993.

He joined the Department of Statistics and Operations Research and the Operations Management Area of the Stern School of Business in 1993. He is currently the Toyota Professor and an Associate Professor in the IOMS Department. His research interests are in stochastic modeling & optimization, specifically, problems related to planning, coordination and optimization in supply chains; performance evaluation of queueing systems; and the impact of risk on operational decisions.

He is an Associate Editor for Naval Research Logistics, a Senior Editor for the Production and Operations Management Journal and the Area Editor for Inventory, Reliability, and Control for Operations Research Letters.
