Biography

Carole Comerton-Forde is visiting Stern as a Visiting Associate Professor of Finance for the Fall semester.

Professor Comerton-Forde's research is in the area of market microstructure. Her research focuses on market liquidity and market integrity. Her work has been published in a range of journals including the Journal of Finance and the Journal of Financial Markets.

Professor Comerton-Forde is currently on sabbatical leave from the University of Sydney, where she is an Associate Professor of Finance. She was also Associate Dean (Undergraduate) for the Faculty of Economics and Business. She has previously spent time as a Visiting Economist at the New York Stock Exchange. She has also acted as a consultant for a number of stock exchanges and market regulators.

Professor Comerton-Forde received her Bachelor of Commerce with First Class Honours in Finance and her Ph.D in Finance from the University of Sydney.
