Biography
David Ross joined the faculty of the Columbia Business School in 2007 as an assistant professor. Previously, he was an associate and vice president from 1998 to 2001 with Citigroup Investment Banking.

His research interests include the interaction between strategic and financial decisions and the strategy of financial intermediaries.

He earned a BS in economics and computer science/mathematics from the State University of New York at Binghamton in 1990 and an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania in 1997. He also received a PhD in economics from the Stern School of Business, New York University in 2007.
