Samantha Zeller
I obtained a bachelors degree in economics and mathematics from Columbia University in 2014. After graduating, I worked in the Antitrust group of NERA Economic Consulting for about a year before joining the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, where I worked as an RA for two years. As an RA in the Financial Intermediation function of the NY Fed, I assisted with various research projects on financial institutions and household finance (including on the information value of stress testing and the impact of securitization on bank lending) and helped forecast revenue for the annual Dodd-Frank Act Stress Tests. This experience prompted my interest in finance research, and I am very excited to join the NYU Stern Finance PhD program. In my free time, I enjoy reading, baking, and exploring NYC.
