Tianyue Ruan

My name is Tianyue Ruan. My name conveys the literal meaning of being happy every day in Chinese language. From the coastal Xiamen City in southern China, I am currently a finance major senior student at Guanghua School of Management, Peking University and I am graduating this July. I had my junior fall semester exchange at Stern and the awesome experience motivates me to pursue a PhD degree and a career in academia upon my graduation (also I love the elegant purple color of NYU and Stern very much). Currently I am working with my supervisor at Peking University on a project of mainland China's equity OTC market, and the ever-changing and developing scenario of this market is exciting. Other questions interest me include corporate finance and financial regulation.

In my spare time, I enjoy travelling, swimming, reading, and Chinese calligraphy. I really look forward the unparalleled educational and cultural experience in the City!
