STATEMENT OF RESEARCH INTERESTS

My scholarship centers on unintended gaps in our ethics and egalitarianism.

Specifically, I study:

1. What are the subtle and unrecognized forces that stand in the way of people and organizations being as ethical as they think they are?

2. What are the subtle and unrecognized forces that stand in the way of people and organizations being as egalitarian and inclusive as they want to be, particularly when it comes to race, ethnicity, and gender?

I have two guiding principles in my scholarship. First, I strive to go beyond satiating intellectual curiosities to do work that has an impact on scholars and practitioners. Second, I strive to uncover and tell hard truths that address critical social challenges related to social justice and societal well-being.
