MPSIF operates on a September 1 - August 31 fiscal year and publishes both an annual report (for period ending August 31) and semi-annual report (for period ending February 28).

Since 2004, MPSIF has published a periodic newsletter, The Educated Investor, to showcase the activities of the fund and analytical financial writing.

On January 25, 2005 CNBC's "Closing Bell" featured three MPSIF students to discuss the fund's structure and investment strategy and to share their stock picks. See the streaming video under "media coverage."
