Once I started offering classes online, I discovered that taking an online class is a very different experience than taking one in person. For instance, an 80-minute lecture, which may be palatable in a regular class, is much more difficult to take online. I will not claimed that I have cracked the code on online learning, but I am learning and these classes represent my first steps.

Accounting | This is my version of an accounting class, designed to take the minimal amounts I know about acccounting and use that to create a class on how best to read financial statements and use the data from those statements as raw material in corporate finance and valuation. Be warned! I cut corners and make pragmatic choices that may make accounting purists faint. | My site YouTube |
Statistics | This is an applied statistics class, designed to meet the needs that we face in finance and investing. It starts with vision of statistics as the key to converting data to information, and the various tools that it brings to the table in that endeavor. | My site YouTube |
Foundations of Finance | This is a short class, comprised of nine sessions, that looks at the foundational concepts in finance, from what comprises a business to how to measure cash flows and risk to the time value of money to the basics of valuing stocks, bonds and options. It is a good first course to take if you have no finance background and are interested in taking mycorporate finance and valuation courses. | My site YouTube |
Corporate Finance Online (Book/ Online Class to accompany Applied Corporate Finance 4th Edition) | This is an entirely online version of the class, composed of 36 sessions of 12-15 minutes apiece that covers what I do in a regular MBA class.
Valuation Online |
This class mirrors the regular MBA class but replaces the 80 minute classes with shorter ones (15-20 minutes), with post-class tests.
Investment Philosophies Online | This is a class that I have not taught in the classroom but decided to teach entirely as an online class, tying the sessions closed to my book on Investment Philosophies. | My site |

The Corporate Life Cycle | This is an online class, composed of 20 sessions of 25-35 minutes apiece, where I look at how businesses age (move through the life cycle) and the implications for how they make decisions (corporate finance), how they are valued (valuaton), how to invest in them (investing) and how they are managed. It is a companion to my book on the topic. | My site YouTube |
If you are wondering how to pick between these and the other classes that I teach, I have a YouTube video taking you through the sequencing and content of these classes, and a blog post that explains the sequencing.
