| Kenneth Langone is the founder and Chairman of Invemed Associates LLC., a New York Stock Exchange member firm engaged in investment banking and brokerage. He received a BA from Bucknell University and an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business; he remains active with both institutions currently serving on the board of overseers of the Stern School and on the board of trustees of New York University. He is chairman of the Trustees of New York University Medical School, a member of the board of trustees of New York University and of its executive committee, and Vice Chairman of the Board of Overseers of N.Y.U. Stern School of Business. From 1980 to 1996 he was a member of the Bucknell University Board of Trustees where he served as Chairman of its nominating committee, its endowment and as a member of its executive committee.
He is a co-founder of the Home Depot, Inc. and has been a director and member of the executive committee of its board since it was founded 1978. He also serves on the boards of Choicepoint, Inc. YUM Brands, and Unifi, Inc. In addition to his business affiliations, Ken serves on the board of the Cancer Research Fund of the Damon Runyon Foundation, The New York Philharmonic, The Ronald McDonald House, the Robin Hood Foundation and the Harlem Children’s Zone. He is Chairman of the Promise Academy, a charter school in New York City. He and his wife Elaine have three grown sons. |
| Mark R. Patterson is Chairman and co-founder of MatlinPatterson Global Advisers LLC, managing over $3.85 billion of investment capital in the distressed market. Mr. Patterson has 30 years of financial markets experience at Credit Suisse First Boston (where he was a Vice Chairman), Scully Brothers & Foss L.P., Salomon Brothers Inc. and Bankers Trust Company. Mr. Patterson holds BA degrees in law and economics (honors) from South Africa’s Stellenbosch University and an MBA (with distinction) from New York University Stern School of Business. Mr. Patterson serves on the Dean’s Executive Board of the NYU Stern School of Business and is on the board of Eon Labs. Mr. Patterson is fluent in Afrikaans. |

| Jen Zobel Bieber is a certified coach who specializes in helping high-achieving students and professionals make career and life transitions. She works closely with clients eager to break into new fields as well as those striving to advance in their careers. She especially enjoys helping her clients to launch bold projects, break barriers, and strike out on their own. Jen takes a special interest in working with high-achievers, who tend to face unique challenges when it comes to fear, pressure, self-expectations, and the expectations of others. In recognizing this, Jen helps her clients attain a level of personal fulfillment that rivals their public achievements. Jen’s firsthand experience speaks to the interests, needs, and aspirations of clients who are looking to carve a path outside the straight-and-narrow. Prior to establishing herself as a career coach, Jen worked for nearly ten years in the film and television industry for ABC, NY1, PBS, HBO/The Sopranos, MSNBC, and A&E. Jen earned a degree in psychology from Columbia University and received her coaching certification from New York University. Jen recognizes the dual sides that transition affords – both the incredible challenges and the incredible opportunities and empowers her clients to define their goals and reach them. |
| Ben Dattner has helped a wide variety of corporate and non-profit organizations become more successful by developing a better understanding of the impact of individual psychology and group dynamics on their performance. His consulting services enable organizations to make better hiring and staffing decisions, to enhance the professional capabilities of managers and employees, to configure teams more effectively, and to reduce the amount of interpersonal and intergroup conflict. Ben received a BA in Psychology from Harvard College, and his MA and Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from New York University, where he was a MacCracken Fellow. His doctoral dissertation analyzed the relationship between narcissism and fairness in the workplace, and his masters thesis examined the impact of trust on negotiation. Ben is an adjunct professor at New York University, where he teaches Organizational Development in the Industrial and Organizational Psychology MA Program. |

| David Matthew Prior, MCC, MBA is a leader in the professional coaching world, serving as Co-Chair of the International Coach Federation (ICF) Ethics & Standards Committee and on the ICF Board of Directors. He has been featured as a Coach on CNBC Business News and is a coaching faculty member at NYU and the University of Texas-Dallas. Formerly a Trust and Financial Planning Officer with Chase Bank, along with an MBA from Thunderbird in international business, he left his blue suit to enroll in and graduate from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, NY, and wound up teaching improvisation skills for 8 years to professional actors at the Michael Howard Studios in New York City. His love for other cultures and fluency in Spanish have led him to professional coaching in the Spanish-speaking world through Olacoach, an international coach training organization based in Madrid. |
| Cynthia Palka works as an executive coach and leadership consultant to both public and private sectors on issues surrounding change and performance. She has been working in the life sciences arena since 1992, specializing in executive recruitment, development, and performance enhancement, and her clients have included start-up companies and global corporations. Cynthia’s technical expertise includes four years of bench experience in pharmaceutical research. She is a Regulatory Affairs Certified professional for pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device products.
Cynthia earned a BS degree in Chemistry from Canisius College and an MS degree in Chemistry from Princeton University. She is a Certified Empowerment Coach and administrator of the Genos© Emotional Intelligence (EI) and the Platinum Rule® Behavioral Style Assessments.
