Past Event: Festival Dinner

festival_dinner SABAS organized a dinner celebrating the South Asian festivals of Diwali, Eid and Guru Nanak's Birthday at the Jewel of India restaurant in NYC. It was four hours of food, fun and great company!

Stern Global Business Conference The Global Business Conference is a platform for the exchange of ideas and experiences in global business. Past Event: SABAS Speaker Series Inaugural Event with Opening Remarks by Dean Cooley

Abraham George (MBA ’73, PhD ’75), entrepreneur, philanthropist and author, recently spoke to a group of nearly 50 Stern MBA students from the South Asian Business Association at Stern (SABAS) and Social Enterprise Association (SEA).  Dr. George spoke candidly about his views on India’s explosive urban development and the country’s struggle with a lack of development in its rural areas.   He suggested a number of viable solutions to bridge the gap between the world’s rich and poor, and encouraged the audience to get involved....  [click here to learn more about the event in review] .
