SABAS is the latest student association at NYU Stern. The founding members of SABAS are Aarti Raghavan, Anand Baldawa, Chandra Subramanian, Karan Bhatia, Thej Gurumurthy and Yogesh Amle. The founding members also form the executive committee of SABAS. The executive committee has overall responsibility of carrying out the mission of SABAS and to put SABAS on its path to become one of the finest clubs at NYU Stern.

Sangeetha Ramsagar (Co-President)
Sangeetha is a second year Langone, MBA student concentrating in International Business and Strategy. After earning her masters in genetics from The Ohio State University, she joined Bayer Pharmaceuticals as an oncology scientist and transitioned to a position as Bayer's US Strategic Marketer. Sangeetha grew up in the military, in Delhi and Goa and has lived in the US for over ten years. |

Ameet Prabhu Salgaonker (VP Alumni)
Ameet is a second year student who is still in a state of shock as to how soon the first year has gone by. Prior to school, he was with Portfolio Analytics team in the Investment Management Division of Lehman Brothers. While Ameet misses the Goan sun and sand and the hustle-bustle of Mumbai, he has loved being in New York. When not at Stern, Ameet enjoys writing blogs, capturing candid moments and downing a Sam Smith Organic. |

Puja is originally from Mumbai, India and has most recently been living in the NY/NJ area. Upon graduating from Washington University in St. Louis, she made a career switch from genetics into advertising. Prior to Stern, she did strategy work in the communications space for several clients including Kao brands, Kraft, Procter & Gamble and Samsung. Puja is specializing in marketing and strategy, with the intent to pursue a career in brand strategy. On a personal note, Puja is an avid follower of world events and has a passion for all things epicurean. |
Sachin Thareja (VP-Part-Time/Corporate Relations)
Sachin will be specializing in Strategy and Entrepreneurship. Pursing his MBA part-time, he employs several time-management strategies to purse his outside interests: music, socializing, fitness, and the great outdoors. He is a recent ski-nut. He has been working as a Software Engineer at Bloomberg LP since 2006. |
Simran Kaur (VP-Social Events)
 Simran is a second year MBA student at Stern. She grew up in New York and graduated from Columbia University in 2004. Prior to NYU, Simran was working at Goldman Sachs on the Quantitative Equity Team as an Analyst. After Stern, Simran hopes to pursue a career in Sales and Trading. When she's not at school, Simran enjoys trying new cuisines, dancing, running and volunteering with the Sikh Coalition. |
Mayank Agarwal (VP-Technology)
Mayank is a second year MBA specializing in Banking and Corporate Finance who wants to pursue a career in investment banking. He holds a Master's degree in Computer Science and has worked as a software engineer for Nokia Research Center in Dallas, Texas, and for VeriSign in Dulles, Virginia. Mayank loves travelling, especially to the mountains and has been trekking in the Himalayas several times. |

Nilesh Mandhare (VP-Speaker Series/Faculty)
Prior to Stern, Nilesh worked for Verizon Business where he specialized in business process integration. The post-merger operational integration work that Nilesh did after Verizon bought MCI got him interest in finance and investment banking. Immediately after graduating from Stern, Nilesh wishes to pursue a career in investment banking. Nilesh holds a bachelors and a masters degree in computer science and engineering. |

Shruti is a first year MBA student at Stern and plans to major in Corporate Finance and Strategy. She graduated from Stony Brook University in 2006, majoring in Computer Engineering. She harbors an eclectic personality, courtesy the diverse countries where she has spent her growing years: Nigeria, Saudi Arabia and India. During her free time, her interests lean towards writing and exploring cuisines! |

Vinod is a second year MBA student at Stern specializing in Product Management and Finance. Before coming to Stern, he worked as an Economist doing energy regulation for the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission in Washington, D.C., and briefly in a mortgage brokerage in Northern Virginia. Vinod holds a BA in Economics from the University of Maryland. Prior to attending high school and college in Maryland, Vinod lived in various parts of the United States and Germany. In his free time, he enjoys gaming, old movies, tennis, finding cheap lunch spots, and traveling. |

Marti G. Subrahmanyam is the Charles E. Merrill Professor of finance, economics and international business at New York University's Stern School of Business. Besides his rich academic and research experience, Professor Subrahmanyam has extensive consulting experience.
