I cannot promise you a painless
and pleasurable exam experience.... but I can try to minimize
the pain inflicted.
What will it cover? Everything that we have done in class, but in small bites
What are the exam rules? You should take the exam individually, but it is open book, open notes. The exam is a 2-hour online exam, composed of ten multiple choice questions. Since this is an all or nothing format, if you prefer an open ended version, please let me know in advance.
How do I prepare for the exam?
- Be engaged in class. The class sessions will be recorded and you can rewatch the portions that you feel uncertain about.
- Review your lecture notes. The lecture notes are your primary reading material, and everything on the final will have been covered somewhere along the way.
- Work through past finals: You have access to every final exam that I have given in my regular classes. Be aware, though, that these were in class and open ended final exams, if you are taking the multiple choice version.
- Watch the review session: I have a review session on YouTube for the class that you may (or may not) find useful.
